Patriots trade for Ravens OL Jermaine Eluemunor

The New England Patriots have traded an undisclosed draft pick for Ravens offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor, Baltimore announced on Wednesday.

The trade for Eluemunor is the second trade for the Patriots in one day. They also sent a sixth round selection to the Arizona Cardinals for tackle Korey Cunningham.

Eluemunor joins the Patriots after struggling with the Ravens. Per ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Eluemunor was on track to start at guard but failed the conditioning test, made mental errors (like false starts) and had injuries issues.

Eluemunor, 24, was a fifth-round pick in 2017. The 6-foot-4, 340-pound guard is likely to earn a depth spot on New England’s roster.
