Kenjon Barner’s run with the New England Patriots didn’t last long — but it was enough to earn a Super Bowl ring.
The former Patriots running back played five games with the team in 2018, after being cut three times. He played 42 offensive snaps for New England and made his way on to the Carolina Panthers’ roster after Week 5.
Regardless of his short stint with the Patriots — Robert Kraft felt as if he played long enough and earned a Super Bowl LIII ring. Barner was beyond grateful for it, and made several posts on social media to share his gratitude.
This was Barner’s second consecutive Super Bowl ring — after winning one with the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.
He paid it forward with his newest ring and gave it to his dad as a Fathers Day gift.
