Patriots sign former Vikings tackle Cedrick Lang

The Patriots have added former Vikings tackle Cedrick Lang, per multiple reports.

Lang spent last season on the injured reserve for the Vikings after undergoing surgery on his right leg during the preseason.

The Vikings decided against tendering Lang, 26, for $570,000 as an exclusive right free agent.

With former Minnesota athletes (David Ortiz, Kevin Garnett and Randy Moss) finding success in Boston, this likely means Lang is the next Joe Thomas.

Awesome.

In other offensive line news for the Vikings on Monday, the team did come to terms with center Brett Jones on a one-year deal.
