Patriots show sneak peek of Super Bowl ring before Thursday’s ceremony

For the second time in the past three NFL seasons, the New England Patriots are preparing to receive their Super Bowl rings.

The Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII and brought in the sixth championship for the franchise. The Patriots official Twitter account posted a sneak preview of the rings on Wednesday before anyone got a full look at them.

The team is set to receive their rings Thursday night during a ring ceremony, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. This private event will bring together all of the players and staff from the 2018 season.

Last time the Patriots received a ring, it had 283 diamonds in it — so who knows what this one will contain.
