Patriots rule out C Ted Karras and list 8 as questionable for Week 14

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is no longer on the injury report ahead of the team’s Week 14 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Brady, listed with toe and elbow issues, was a full participant in practice on Friday.

“Isn’t there some HIPAA violation or something like that when I start talking about all of my injuries?” Brady joked with Westwood One’s Jim Gray on Thursday night, as transcribed by NESN. “I’m doing pretty good. I’m doing pretty good. At this time of the year, I’ll take it. I’ll take anything if I’m still able to go out there and feel like I can play my best. I’m feeling really good, really positive about this weekend.”

The two players who did not participate, center Ted Karras and defensive tackle Byron Cowart were ruled out. With Karras out (and David Andrew on IR), the Patriots will likely turn to third-string center James Ferentz.

New England ruled eight player as questionable: Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee), Marcus Cannon (illness), Patrick Chung (heel), Julian Edelman (shoulder), Cody Kessler (illness), Jason McCourty (groin), Mohamed Sanu (ankle) and John Simon (elbow). They were all limited in practice on Friday.

The Patriots kickoff against the Chiefs at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday.
