Patriots reveal Super Bowl LIII ring at Thursday’s private ceremony

The blitz to six ended with the New England Patriots blowing through the favored Los Angeles Chargers, surviving on the road against the unstoppable Kansas City Chiefs and triumphing at Super Bowl LIII over the star-studded Los Angeles Rams.

Those were feats fit for a king, and the Patriots were finally crowned in a private ceremony on Thursday night.

The new ring has six Lombardi Trophies with the insignia “Still Here,” the Patriots 2018 motto, engraved on the side.

While the team will definitely take the night to enjoy the celebration with present and past players from the 2018 championship team, they also haven’t lost sight of the goal to repeat, which hasn’t been done since their 2004 championship season. As quarterback Tom Brady always says, his favorite Super Bowl ring is “the next one.”

The Patriots have reloaded across the board in the offseason and look primed for another strong postseason run. Even without retired legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski, who was also in attendance at Thursday’s ceremony, the stairway to seven Super Bowl titles remains very much in play.
