Patriots QB Tom Brady limited during Week 14 ahead of matchup vs. Chiefs

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was limited at practice on Thursday with elbow and toe issues ahead of the team’s matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14. He was a full participant on Wednesday.

The Patriots first listed the elbow problem during Week 12 on the Friday before a game against the Dallas Cowboys. The elbow issue has remained on the injury report, even when Brady is a full participant.

“It’s doing well. Thanks for asking. I appreciate it. Thank you,” Brady said when asked about it on WEEI on Monday morning after the win over the Cowboys. “How did it look yesterday? I think it speaks for itself.”

The Patriots first listed Brady’s toe injury on Wednesday. This marks the third consecutive week Brady has been limited for one practice.

New England was without center Ted Karras (knee) and defensive tackle Byron Cowart (head) during Thursday’s practice.

Brady was among eight limited Patriots: Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee), Marcus Cannon (illness), Patrick Chung (heel), Julian Edelman (shoulder), Cody Kessler (illness), Jason McCourty (groin), Mohamed Sanu (ankle) and John Simon (elbow). Kessler is a new addition to the injury report.

The Patriots have one practice on Friday before their matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.
