Patriots players react to Antonio Brown reportedly signing with New England

The New England Patriots pulled off a huge surprise when Bill Belichick signed superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown Saturday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter

Just a few weeks ago, Belichick’s starting quarterback Tom Brady was working with a wideout group that included the likes of Dontrelle Inman, Maurice Harris and Gunner Olszewski. Now, Brady has Brown, Julian Edelman, Demaryius Thomas, Josh Gordon and N’Keal Harry (IR), among others. New England fans dreamed of Brady getting to throw to Brown after the talented wide receiver was released by the Oakland Raiders, before playing any regular season snaps with the team he signed with in March.

Brown won’t be suiting up Sunday night when the Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he could be ready for next Sunday’s game in Miami.
