Patriots’ Pat Chung, Josh Gordon, Rex Burkhead out for Week 7 against Jets

The New England Patriots will be missing key players on offense and defense for Week 7 against the Jets in New York on Monday night.

For the Patriots, safety Patrick Chung (chest/heel), receiver Josh Gordon (knee), running back Rex Burkhead (foot), tight ends Matt LaCosse (knee)  and Ryan Izzo (concussion), defensive end Michael Bennett (suspension) and tackle Korey Cunningham (healthy scratch) will be inactive.

Receivers Julian Edelman (chest) and Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) will be active despite being on the injury report this week. Running back Damien Harris will be back on the game day roster. The rookie and former third-rounder has just one game of experience entering Monday night.

While New England is without two tight ends, they signed Ben Watson and Eric Tomlinson this week. They could make an immediate contribution against the Jets.

Here’s a look at the Jets’ inactives.
