Patriots’ Julian Edelman, Dont’a Hightower questionable for Week 4 vs. Bills

Receiver Julian Edelman is among the seven questionable New England Patriots players ahead of the team’s Week 4 matchup against the Bills in Buffalo on Sunday. Edelman has been dealing with a chest injury which he suffered in Week 3. He was limited for all three practices this week.

Linebacker Dont’a Hightower (shoulder), tackle Marshall Newhouse (illness), defensive end Michael Bennett (shoulder), running back Rex Burkhead (foot), safety Nate Ebner (groin) and tight end Matt LaCosse (ankle) were the other Patriots listed as questionable.

Hightower was limited for the entire week of practice after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 3. Newhouse’s illness forced him to skip practice on Thursday, though he was limited on Wednesday and Friday. LaCosse, meanwhile, has logged just two receptions this season while dealing with ankle injury, which he suffered during the preseason.

Quarterback Tom Brady was listed as limited on Wednesday with a calf injury, but was removed from the list on Thursday. Tackle Marcus Cannon was a full participant despite his shoulder injury, and should be good to play. Tight end Ryan Izzo and guard Joe Thuney started the week as limited participants but were upgraded to full participation.
