Patriots inactives: Rookie TEs active, Jordan Thomas out vs. Rams

The New England Patriots will have only their rookie tight ends, Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene, active for their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night in Week 14.

Asiasi, who came off injured reserve on Thursday, will play for the first time since Week 6. He has yet to record an NFL reception.

The Patriots inactives include tight end Jordan Thomas, safety Terrence Brooks, quarterback Brian Hoyer, defensive tackle Isaiah Mack and running back J.J. Taylor. Though Brooks was playing a sizable role on special teams and defense at the start of the season, the Patriots seem to be prioritizing game action for rookie Kyle Dugger. Defensive tackle Akeem Spence will play over Mack for the second week.

The Patriots kick off against the Rams at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday night.
