Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business professor Michael Lewis released a report on Monday in which he used quantitative analysis to figure out which NFL teams had the best, or most loyal, fans. He used data on “attendance, revenues, social media following and road attendance to develop statistical models of fan interest,” which helped determine where each team’s fans ranked among the 32 teams.
The Patriots were ranked No. 2 on the list and were wedged in between the Cowboys (No. 1) and Eagles (No. 3).
