Cam Newton is officially a New England Patriot, the team announced on Wednesday.
Newton’s reported one-year deal was announced last week and he’s been active on social media about his new journey in the NFL. He started off by immediately putting in work with Mohamed Sanu, who joined the Patriots halfway through the 2019 season. He dropped a hype video of his own shortly after that included clips of him and Sanu practicing — along with an Instagram photo where he’s studying the team’s playbook.
The Patriots’ social media account put together a video of their own to ring in the new era with Newton at the helm.
