Bill Belichick surprises his players with a few jokes here at there. He’s known to deliver a sick burn. But the New England Patriots coach also cracks himself up, which might mean that his players are laughing at Belichick’s jokes because he is laughing at himself.

The Patriots cornerback appeared on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” and discussed the biggest surprise of playing for Belichick.
“He jokes,” Jones said on Monday morning on NFL Network. “I mean, he laughs at his own jokes more than anyone, and I think the team goes along with it. … He jokes about the media. Bill’s down to earth — he really is. He’s a great guy, a great coach. His distance from the media — he’s developed some. But he’s a great guy, a great guy. He definitely has a personality.”
