Patriots are slight favorites in Saturday’s matchup against the Titans

It’s hard to forget how the Tennessee Titans dominated the New England Patriots during their last meeting in Nissan Stadium.

In that matchup, Tennessee toppled New England, 34-10 in Nissan Stadium. Before this win, the Titans had lost to the Patriots seven times in a row, with their last triumph dating back to 2002.

Obviously, this is an entirely different contest given that it’s preseason. We won’t see many of the same players from the last meeting in for very long, but will get a glimpse of what each team’s backups and hopefuls have to offer.

It’s unsurprising that the Titans enter this game as underdogs against such a well-established team like the Patriots, though.

According to oddsshark.com, New England is favored by a point spread of (-3).

The projected score listed by the site has the Patriots on top, coming out victorious with a final score of 23.6-17.9.

It’s safe to assume this game will be a close one, given the emerging talent on both sides of the ball for each team.

But given the Patriots’ longstanding track record of success, it’s easy to see why sports bettors would be most comfortable putting their money on Bill Belichick’s team.

The Pats currently lead the all-time series, 25-17-1.

The Titans and Patriots are set to kick off at 6:00 p.m. CT on Saturday in Nissan Stadium.
