Former New England Patriots receiver Antonio Brown went back to burning the NFL and NFLPA, among others, on Twitter on Wednesday.
Just one week ago, Brown issued an apology to just about everyone with a statement on social media. He seems to be walking back that apology on Wednesday. His first and most dramatic post was a photoshopped image of him dying in a gladiator ring while wearing a Patriots uniform. Agent Drew Rosenhaus and NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith watched from the stands, and it seems the media is the entity that stabbed him.
He wrote on the Instagram post: “The owners sent the hit to the media ; media carried it out; as The agent and nflpa witness me go down no help no protection full take down on us every time !”
Here’s a look at the photo, which has since been deleted.
He then continued his social media tirade with responses to followers.
Brown is facing allegations of rape and sexual assault. He spent 11 days with the Patriots, and the allegations — and ensuing civil suit — became public in his second day with the team.
