Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira says his side will be working hard on defending set pieces ahead of Tuesday night’s match with Leeds United.
The Eagles conceded from another corner in their 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday, when they failed to deal with Ashley Young’s delivery, which allowed Matt Targett to fire home at the back post.
Targett’s goal was the 10 th they have conceded from set pieces in the Premier League so far this season, the most of any club in the division.

Speaking in his post-match interview to cpfc.com, Vieira has claimed that this an issue they are looking to address as quickly as possible.
He said: “This is something that we are focusing on at the minute. Obviously we need to do a little bit more work on that. We are there, we want to compete, but we don’t do it well enough.
“It was really disappointing to concede a goal again on the set-pieces. We never found a way back into the game. We didn’t create enough; our passing wasn’t good enough in this game.”
Despite their set-piece defensive difficulties, Palace will represent another tough test for Leeds as they look to get back to winning ways.
The Whites were held to a 0-0 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday evening, in a game they were perhaps lucky to come away with anything.
Their clash with the Eagles is the first of two huge home games in quick succession for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, with a match against Brentford to follow on Sunday.
Leeds will be desperate to get a couple of wins on the board ahead of a daunting December period, where they face trips to Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool in the space of just two weeks.
