And the Manchester City winger - who enjoyed a stunning loan spell with Celtic over two stints - has further fuelled return talk by uploading a picture of him out celebrating the treble Treble with Kieran Tierney and Mikael Lustig.
Roberts has a year left on his contract at City but a huge question mark hangs over his future after a torrid spell on loan at Girona in Spain was brought to an end early.
The former England youth international is best friends with Tierney.
And the pair were reunited for a night out on Saturday after the Hoops Hampden joy.
He uploaded a picture with Tierney and Lustig on his Instagram story with the words "Two legends".
The pic also included a four-leaf clover and a policeman emoji next to Lustig's handle - in reference to the Swede's celebrations during a win over Rangers last year.
Roberts played a key role in the Hoops' treble victories in 2016/17 and 2017/18 - and a return to the east end of Glasgow would be welcomed by supporters.
The 22-year-old posed for a pic with Celtic fan @Nickolas_67 at Saturday's final and responded to a question over his future.
Manchester City are understood to want around £4million for Roberts.
It's unlikely the English champions would entertain another loan deal with the player entering the final year of his contract.
