Some inter-sport support is going on in the state of Missouri this evening.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are in the building at Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. They took a quick ride down I-70 to watch the St. Louis Blues take on the Boston Bruins. One of these two teams will go home with the Stanley Cup after a few more games.
These two won’t miss a chance to see a good game, they saw Texas Tech take on Michigan State during NCAA Basketball Tournament. It’s extra special when they get a chance to see a Missouri team beat a Boston team. Both Mahomes and Kelce were rocking Blues jerseys to represent the local team, but Kelce wore a special throwback jersey that caught the attention of many.
What also caught some attention is how much Kelce was enjoying his chicken tenders. They were so good that they brought him to dance!
It’s good to see Kelce make fun of himself a bit, it’s part of what makes him such a lovable guy. Let’s get back to the important part, though. Kelce is rocking a throwback Wayne Gretzky jersey from when he was with the Blues in 1996.
Kelce isn’t the only Chiefs player showing off at the game. Kelce may have the style and dancing skills, but Mahomes might has beat in one particular category. Mahomes showed everyone how an MVP chugs beer.
Move over Aaron Rodgers! David Bakhtiari who? The best beer-chugging NFL player award clearly belongs to the MVP.
