Patrick Mahomes throws some friendly shade at Tom Brady on Twitter

It’s pretty clear Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have so much respect for each other, as we saw in their post-Super Bowl LV exchange.

So when you see the tweets they exchanged, don’t take it farther than that. This is just a pair of legendary quarterbacks having some fun on Twitter.

Here’s what went down: Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez lost a Super Bowl bet and had to wear a Brady jersey to batting practice earlier this week. Perez still stated Mahomes is “the best.”

Brady saw the Royals’ tweet about words speaking louder than actions and countered with the actual proverb:
