Patrick Mahomes stood alone in the frigid cold to watch Browns-Texans on the Chiefs jumbotron

If you’ve not heard, the conditions for Saturday night’s Kansas City Chiefs game against the Miami Dolphins are going to be very cold.

The temperature is expected to be a brutal -5 degrees at kickoff of the AFC wild-card game, which is absolutely frigid weather to play a football game.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wasn’t bothered by the freezing pregame temperatures as he watched the NFL game that played before his.

NFL Network reporter James Palmer snapped a video of Mahomes standing alone and watching the other AFC wild-card game between the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns on the Arrowhead Stadium jumbotron.

Mahomes was wrapped up in a big football jacket as he watched the game, so it’s not like he was out in a short-sleeved t-shirt or anything.

However, we’re guessing he was trying to get acclimated to the freezing winter weather he was about to play in for a chance at the AFC divisional round.
