Patrick Mahomes’ mom blames referees for Super Bowl loss in tweet to Gisele Bundchen

The Kansas City Chiefs were thoroughly outplayed in Sunday’s 31-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. It was the first double-digit loss of Patrick Mahomes’ NFL career.

And while the Chiefs quarterback took the defeat with class, his mother, Randi Mahomes, wasn’t exactly impressed with the Buccaneers’ performance.

Randi spent much of the game complaining about the officiating (including an oddly sexist tweet about Sarah Thomas serving as an official). She also took exception with how ESPN and SportsCenter’s social pages tweeted memes at Patrick’s expense.

After the game ended, Randi continued to blame the officials for the lopsided loss and directed a tweet at Tom Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen.

Randi caused a stir earlier in the playoffs when she called the Browns’ Mack Wilson “evil” for a clean tackle that just happened to injure the Chiefs quarterback. Wilson took the tweet gracefully in his classy response.

There’s a difference between rooting for your son and, well, this …

It’s such a bad look.
