Patrick Mahomes, Mecole Hardman had a hilarious exchange on Twitter

Kansas City Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman posted another preview shot from his Panini America photo shoot at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere event.

The picture, which you can find below, features an airborne Hardman catching a pass with one hand. The caption reads: “Sneak peek of what’s to come.”

It’s definitely something to get the Chiefs Kingdom hyped up, and the response to the photo definitely indicates that Hardman did a good job of that. It even drew a response from an important member of the Chiefs.

Hardman’s new quarterback had to give him a hard time with this staged shot. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes decided to give the new rookie a ribbing on social media.

Mahomes had to coach the rookie up a bit. He seems to think that Hardman needs to keep running under his passes a bit more instead of letting up early. Check out Mahomes’ response below.

Hardman could have responded in many different ways, but really he had the perfect hilarious response to Mahomes’ mocking criticism. Check it out below.

Going from Jake Fromm to Mahomes has to be a pretty big transition for Hardman. Mahomes has a cannon for an arm and can throw the ball practically the length of the football field. That’ll take some getting used to.

It’s certainly nice to see these two players having some fun with each other on social media and building their relationship off the field. Hopefully it’ll lead to a good relationship on the field and many caught deep passes.
