Patrick Mahomes left the game with a knee injury, and NFL fans freaked out

The NFL world held it’s collective breath as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the most electrifying young player in the NFL, was on the ground and very clearly in immense pain during Thursday night’s game against the Broncos.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the sequence of events.
