Patrick Mahomes just proved the Madden Curse is just a myth

So much for the Madden Curse.

If you believe it’s really a thing that the athlete who ends up on the cover of EA Sports’ beloved NFL franchise gets a terrible injury the following year,

We now have two of the last three years proving that the curse is basically destroyed.

In 2017, Tom Brady literally laughed in the face of the curse and didn’t get hurt. Although he won a Super Bowl the following year, still!

And now, there’s Patrick Mahomes. In October, his knee injury could have been proof the curse was back on. Now? NOPE! Here are some folks who agree:
