Patrick Mahomes compliments the passing ability of Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. It will be a tough game for both teams, but Baltimore will be working with many new faces, as they’ve been dealing with a string of injuries throughout the last month.

Ahead of their matchup, on ESPN’s Sunday Night Countdown, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson received praise from opposing quarterback Patrick Mahomes on his athletic ability as well as his arm.

Jackson is known for what he can do with his legs. The former league-MVP rushed for the most yards by a quarterback in a single-season and often makes defenders look silly in open space.

However, while Jackson’s passing ability has been often criticized by pundits, it should not be overlooked. Just two years ago, Jackson led the league in touchdown passes with 36. He also threw for a touchdown on nine percent of his passes, which is the most in Ravens history.

Jackson is entering this contest against the Chiefs 0-3 against Kansas City in his career. With the Chiefs looking to contain the legs of the dual-threat quarterback, Jackson may need to rely on his arm more than ever if he wants to hand Mahomes his first-ever loss against the Ravens.
