Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs team-mates' amazing warm-up for Super Bowl LVII

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs has taken the field in preparation for tonight's Super Bowl looking relaxed as they warm up for the championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Most of these Chiefs players have been here before, and will be playing in the team's third Super Bowl within the last five years. Winning has been a regular occurrence for the Chiefs since Mahomes became the starting quarterback in 2018, taking over from veteran Alex Smith.

Although only being the starter for five years, Mahomes elite play has seen him elevate the franchise to the Super Bowl three times - winning one of them.

And as they hope to win their second, their first since 2020, the Chiefs looked relaxed in their warm-ups, mimicking playing basketball just an hour before kick-off.

Mahomes was recorded posting up on a Chiefs receiver, before shooting a jumpshot at JuJu Smith-Schuster, who acted as a rim - with the ball going through as the quarterback celebrated.

In the biggest game of his career to date, Mahomes will hope to become the first quarterback since 1999 to win the regular season MVP and Super Bowl.

The 27-year-old star has had another incredible season once again, leading the Chiefs to the big game, whilst doing so without his former number one wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The receiver was traded to the Miami Dolphins for a number of draft picks, which the Chiefs used to draft a number of defensive players - players who have helped the team this season and will be starting tonight.

However, although looking confident, the Chiefs come into the game as the underdogs with Mahomes playing through a high ankle sprain - an injury that usually keeps players out of action for up to two months.

The Eagles have themselves had an incredible season, winning 16 games and losing just three - one of which coming on the final game of the season with backup quarterback Gardner Minshew.

Starter Jalen Hurts has had a breakout season, being an MVP candidate himself after two years of below average play.

As well as Hurts, the Eagles have had wide receiver AJ Brown develop into a superstar, and one of the best defences in the NFL - a defence that will look to limit Mahomes, along with star tight end Travis Kelce.
