Hollywood hunk Patrick Dempsey said Dundalk is "so fun" while greeting local fans from his car during heavy traffic over the weekend.
Star struck fan Katie Cumiskey, 20, gasped in shock as the Grey's Anatomy actor rolled down his window to say hello.
In a video posted to TikTok captioned "casually pulling up beside McDreamy in traffic", Dempsey is seen up close and personal in a silver car next to Cumiskey's before casually beginning a conversation with the local woman.
During their short chat Dempsey described his time in Dundalk as "so fun" and said he was doing good.
Cumiskey then waved goodbye to the movie star and told Dempsey to "enjoy himself" as traffic slowly moved on.
Patrick Dempsey is filming alongside co-star Amy Adams in Ireland for Disney's Disenchanted - a sequel to their original 2007 film Enchanted.
The film has seen parts of Enniskerry and Greystones in Co Wicklow transformed into Disney wonderlands with Dundalk train station the latest venue for the movie stars to shoot.
Last week, Dempsey gushed about his time in Ireland in a post on Instagram.
He told his six million followers: "I love being in Ireland and I'm having so much fun working on this film Disenchanted."
The actor has kept fans up to date with his time in Ireland posting images alongside legendary Louis Copeland in his Dublin store, outside Leo Burdock's on Werburgh St, Dublin city centre, and even with a donkey on a walk through the Irish countryside.
