Patrick Chung has a pair of doctor’s appointments this offseason. But the Lombardi Trophy makes the pain worthwhile, the New England Patriots safety explained on Instagram on Friday.
Chung posted to Instagram: “The pain, the sacrifice, the tears. Was all worth it! #leavealegacy#foreverhonored.”
According to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Chung will undergo surgery on his broken arm, a injury which he suffered in Super Bowl LIII. He will later undergo surgery on his shoulder, an injury which he played through during the 2018 season.
