Patrick Bamford has revealed Marcelo Bielsa sends him clips of Erling Haaland on a daily basis.
The Leeds United forward has impressed in the Premier League so far this season but Marcelo Bielsa appears keen not to let him rest on his laurels.
Speaking on the Ornstein and Chapman podcast, Bamford revealed he has had various videos of Borussia Dortmund star Haaland sent to him in order to learn from.
“Throughout the week you get sent various things,” Bamford said.
“Sometimes you get clips of the defender you will be playing against.
“The last three weeks I had two or three videos sent every day of Erling Haaland, like 15 minutes each one.
“I had to watch them and see what I could pick out from him.”
Bamford netted in the Whites' defeat to Chelsea at the weekend and the 27-year-old feels it was evident that he had learned from the Norwegian star, particularly when it comes to his forward runs.
He said: “To be honest it was quite similar to some of his goals.
“I think I can work on the explosiveness of some of my runs sometimes. Sometimes I make a run without 100 per cent determination or conviction.”
It continues Haaland's interesting links to Leeds United.
The forward was born in the city and has previously spoken of his dream to play for the Whites in the Premier League.
Earlier this year, he also swapped shirts with Stuart Dallas when Norway faced Northern Ireland in the international break before giving a quick rendition of Marching on Together to the Leeds player.
