Patrick Bamford has revealed the difference between Marcelo Bielsa's reaction in the dressing room depending on if Leeds United win or lose.
Bielsa's enigmatic managerial style has made many Leeds fan wonder what the manager is like behind closed doors in the dressing room.
Bamford says that the manager does not tend to go over the top with the criticism of players or hand out any hairdryer treatment after matches.
Instead, Bielsa will give the players a short debrief if they have lost, identifying areas where things could have been improved, or congratulate the side if they have won.
Speaking on the Leeds United podcast, Bamford said he felt that the relief Bielsa feels with a win means any constructive criticism is reserved for later in the week.
He said: "If we lose a game - sometimes if we draw but definitely if we lose - there'll be a chat in the changing room afterwards.
"It's not a long chat, he'll just say what he thought and if we gave everything. It's a very small debrief and he'll walk up and down and pat everyone on the heard.
"If we win, even if we don't play well, he'll be buzzing and high fiving everyone.
"He'll come over to everyone sitting down and shake their hands and thank all the physios and everything.
"He'll just be really happy that we won, then the actual debrief of where we can improve, what we did wrong and what we can do better will happen during the week.
"The amount of energy that goes into winning a game means it's kind of like a relief to him."
