Patricia Arquette feels happier than ever, but why?

Patricia Arquette feels happier than ever

Patricia Arquette feels happier than ever.

The 58-year-old actress has enjoyed huge success in Hollywood, winning various accolades during her career, but Patricia admits that she currently feels better than ever.

Speaking to People, Patricia explained: "Oh, I've had so many fun adventures. And also, I mean, I've just been having this incredible relationship with myself, which I never really had.

"You know, I was a mom at 20, so I went from being someone's daughter to someone's mother, to being someone's girlfriend, being someone's wife — all of these different things. I still have a hard time asking myself, ‘What do I want to do?’

"It's really retraining my own mind, so I'm kind of in the happiest, most emotionally stress-free part of my life right now, and I'm loving that."

Meanwhile, Patricia previously expressed her fears about the ever-increasing influence of technology.

The Hollywood star worries for young people, in particular, suggesting that their social skills are already being eroded by the influence of technology.

The Oscar-winning star - who has been married twice, to Nicolas Cage and Thomas Jane - told the Guardian newspaper: "I know there’s going be this Metaverse, but I don’t know what it’s going to be like for young people. They’re already so much in their own homes, playing games.

"I’m hearing from a lot of people that kids are having a hard time. They have anxiety learning how to bond with each other and be resilient, because they just feel safer at home on a device and not having real face-to-face experiences.

"So that’s the scariest thing. I don’t want kids to miss out on becoming resilient. Yeah, you get your heart broken, but it’s OK. Sometimes your friend says something really crappy and you don’t want to be friends with them, and that’s OK. And sometimes you don’t feel beautiful or handsome - that’s OK, too."
