Patrice Evra uploads another bizarre clip to promote his new swimwear range

Patrice Evra has treated the Internet to another one of his bizarre videos, this time promoting his new line of swimshorts by pouring a pan of water over himself.

After previously uploading clips showing how he 'prepares' a chicken and of him riding a blow-up horse, the former Manchester United full-back's latest effort has been viewed almost 500,000 times since being uploaded on Wednesday.

The Instagram post begins with a friend walking towards Evra, who is lying on the bonnet of his customised Audi alongside a pan of water and a pair of his brand-new 'I Love This Game' swimshorts .

The 38-year-old's pal then asks the former Juventus man what he is up to, leading to the ex-France international to explain what the situation is.

"I'm living my best life," says Evra, before sitting up and taking a swig of water from the pan.

"I've just launched my new swimming shorts, so I just want to test the product before my fans can get it.

"I have a surprise for you and they're waterproof," says the Frenchman as he stands up and reaches for the pan of water.

Evra then utters his iconic "I love this game" catchphrase, before emptying the contents of the pan all over himself.

The video ends with the former West Ham defender declaring: "Don't be jealous, I just wanted to share. I love this game!"

Though yet to formally announce his retirement from football, the ex-Monaco defender has been without a club since leaving the Hammers last summer.

After starting out with Marsala in Italy, the 38-year-old has also played for Monza and Nice in a trophy-laden career spanning 20-years.

And with the end of his career seemingly approaching, it appears Evra is keen to branch out into the world of businness with the launch of his new swimwear line.
