Patrice Evra has thanked Manchester United for allowing him to gain coaching experience at the club to earn his A licence.
Retired left-back Evra, who spent eight successful years as a player at Old Trafford, retired from the game early in 2019.
A few months later in September of the same year, the Frenchman returned to United as he bid to complete the work needed to gain his coaching qualifications.
During his stint, he helped coach the Under-18s and also attended Under-23s and Women's matches.
He wrote on Instagram after his first day: "I can't describe how I feel right now! Just wearing that training coach kit made me one of the most happy man thank you @manchesterunited for helping me to complete my coach badges!"
The experience paid off and over two years later Evra has announced that he has now gained his B and A coaching licences which allow him to manage clubs at the highest level.
Evra took to social media on Thursday to thank the club, as well as the Danish Football Association, for allowing him to work with their players on the way to passing his exams.
"B license, A license" he wrote with two tick emojis.
"I would like to say a massive thanks to the clubs @ManUtd DBU Fodboldskole for letting me take over, to all the players who’s had to endure many hours of my yelling on the pitch...
