Patna: Railways regulates movement of several trains

PATNA: Railways has decided to cancel one pair of passenger train and regulate movement of other trains either originating from or passing through Samastipur division of the East Central Railway (ECR) due to non-interlocking (NI) work being carried out between Harinagar and Chamua stations of the division.

According to ECR chief public relations officer (CPRO) Birendra Kumar, railways has cancelled Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj passenger special train (05497/05498) on June 27 and 28 from Gorakhpur end and June 28 and 29 from Narkatiaganj side due to NI work.

Besides, movement of Muzaffarpur-Porbandar Express (19270) were controlled by 60 minutes between Bettiah and Narkatiaganj on June 27 due to NI work being carried out between Harinagar and Chamua stations, while the movement of Anand Vihar-Bapudham Motihari Express (14010) were controlled by 80 minutes between Siswa Bazar and Bhairoganj on Monday.

Movement of Anand Vihar-Darbhanga Jannayak Express (15212) was controlled by 80 minutes between Siswa Bazar and Bhairoganj on Monday, while movement of Anand Vihar-Raxaul Satyagrah Express (15274) was controlled by 100 minutes between Siswa Bazar and Bhairoganj on Monday.

"The movement of this passenger train will also be controlled by 100 minutes between Siswa Bazar and Bhairoganj on Tuesday," the CPRO said.
