PATNA: Patliputra University (PPU) VC Prof R K Singh has announced that the university is preparing to introduce choice-based credit system (CBCS) at the undergraduate level in all its constituent colleges soon. The PPU VC was speaking at a function held at M D College, Naubatpur, located on the outskirts of Patna on Saturday. "Students will have the option to choose their subjects and stream under the CBCS system, which is likely to benefit them,” he said.

The VC also inaugurated a newly-built multipurpose hall on the college campus with the financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh from the university. He also released the college bulletin titled ‘M D College: An Educational Hub and Ideal Habitat for Flora and Fauna’.

PPU registrar Prof Jitendra Kumar was present at the function while college principal Prof Kanhaiya Prasad Sinha welcomed the guests and highlighted achievements of the college in the academic and other fields.
