Patient taken to hospital after A370 crash in Congresbury involving car and motorbike

A patient was taken to hospital following a serious crash yesterday evening (November 27).

The collision involved a motorbike and a car on the A370 at Congresbury and took place just before 7pm.

Local residents said traffic was at a standstill as emergency services dealt with the crash.

A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service has today confirmed a patient was taken to hospital.

They said: "We were called at 18:48 to reports of a road traffic collision, reportedly involving a motorbike and a car.

"We attended with an ambulance and one patient was taken to hospital for further treatment."
