'Pathetic!' - Some Palace fans fume at the club's transfer business as Watford sign Ismaila Sarr

It has been a very quiet transfer deadline day for Crystal Palace - and some Eagles fans are not happy.

The Eagles have not signed a player on deadline day, despite Palace boss Roy Hodgson saying earlier this week that they were hoping to sign four new players before the deadline.

Palace have since signed three players, with former Chelsea defender Gary Cahill arriving on a free transfer, while Victor Camarasa signed yesterday (Wednesday) on a season-long loan from Real Betis and James McCarthy signed on a permanent deal from Everton.

But Sky Sports are reporting that Palace's transfer business is now done, with no more incomings or outgoings expected.

That does mean that Wilfried Zaha is set to stay at Palace, despite expressing his desire to leave the club this summer amid interest from Arsenal and Everton.

However, the club's lack of transfer business so far on deadline day has not gone down well with many Palace fans, with some taking to social networking website Twitter to express their views.

And their frustration has not been helped by the fact that Premier League rivals Watford have completed the signing of Ismaila Sarr from French side Rennes, with the 21-year-old signing a five-year contract at Vicarage Road.

Sarr has been linked with Palace in recent days, but that won't now be happening and the fact that he has gone to Watford has further angered some Eagles supporters.

Here's what some Palace fans have been saying.
