'Pathetic club' - Nottingham Forest fans react to Derby County Tweet over offside goal

Nottingham Forest and Derby County fans have become embroiled in a fierce Twitter debate over the decision to rule out Kamil Jozwiak's late goal that would have earned the Rams victory at the City Ground.

Phillip Cocu's side had taken the lead in the first half through a glorious strike from Martyn Waghorn only for Lyle Taylor to equalise for a much-improved Forest after the break.

But there was controversy late on when Jozwiak appeared to have fired in a winner for the visitors only for the goal to be chalked off because Waghorn was stood in an offside position.

Derby responded with a puzzled face emoji to a Tweet which had screenshotted the Jozwiak goal and the moments leading up to Forest's equaliser which also suggested there was an offside.

And that was enough to spark plenty of comments from the Reds. Here's what they had to say.

Dan Parker: "One was a goal. The other wasn’t. Get promoted if you want VAR."

Aidan: "Cry more."

Joel: "Sour."

Rio NFFC: "Don't cry."

Scully: "Same old Derby, always moaning."

Forest fanzone: "Hahahahahahahaha they’re completely broken. They can’t beat us. Even the official account is crying. Wonderful stuff."

Sam Richards: "Rent. Free."

Josh NFFC: "Honestly what a pathetic club."

Steve Gibson: "Rattled."
