Pat Spillane and Sean Cavanagh clash again over Tyrone black card

Pat Spillane and Sean Cavanagh clashed once again on RTE as Kerry v Tyrone headed into extra time on Saturday.

The pair were involved in a heated debate before a ball was even kicked at Croke Park and they also disagreed on some of the frees awarded to Kerry and the black card handed out to Darren McCurry.

Cavanagh argued that it shouldn't have been a black card, but Spillane claimed there could be no argument about it.

Speaking on RTE, Cavanagh said: "I think Darren McCurry is chasing his man. He's maybe expecting his man to beat him with his shoulder.

"The black card wasn't brought in to play for something like that."

But Spillane interupted, saying: "The black card was brought in to stop deliberate body checks."

Cavanagh hit back, telling Spillane: "The Kerry man wasn't attacking. There was no check. It was two men coming together."
