Passerby brings Dublin Fire Brigade team to emergency after shambolic parking obstructs fire engine

A passerby came to the rescue this afternoon after a terrible parking attempt blocked the Dublin Fire Brigade fire engine from accessing an emergency.

The good Samaritan selflessly gave their motor to the team so that they could make their way to the scene.

The steep road in question, Kilrock Road in Howth, is notoriously difficult to manoeuvre when two cars are approaching each other, but this is made much worse when there is a car obstructing the road.

The firefighters took to twitter to thank the passerby. They said: "Double trouble for our Kilbarrack fire engine as it tried to make its way passed poor parking to an emergency.

"Thanks to the passerby who volunteered their vehicle to take our firefighter/paramedics to the scene.
