Both the victim and man were seated on the lower level at the back of the bus, which left Dundee High Street around 4.45pm, and it was described as a busy service with other passengers intervening to challenge the suspect over his behaviour.

The man concerned is described as a white male, about 30 years of age, 5ft 7 ins in height, of slim build with facial stubble.

“We would particularly like to speak with any of these passengers who may be important witnesses.

“If you have any information that could assist us, please call 101 or speak to any police officer. Also, information can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is incident 2675 of 22nd November.”
