There are major delays across the Metrolink network following a fault with a tram.
Severe delays have been reported on the East Didsbury, Altrincham and Eccles lines.
Passengers can use their tickets and contactless payments on alternative bus services, a post on the TfGM website says.
On the Altrincham line, services between Deansgate-Castlefield and Altrincham are affected.

Travellers can use tickets on the 245 and 263 bus services.
On the East Didsbury line, services between Deansgate-Castlefield and East Didsbury are affected.
Passengers can use tickets on the 43, 101, 102, 103, 85, 86, 142 and 143 bus services.
Services between Deansgate-Castlefield and Eccles are also affected on the Eccles line.
Passengers can use tickets on the 33 and 50 bus services.
There are also minor delays on the Manchester Airport line.
