Passengers duck for cover after bus window smashed in Wishaw street

Passengers were forced to duck for cover after a bus window was smashed while travelling along a Wishaw street.

Police are appealing for information following the worrying incident in North Kilmeny Crescent in Coltness.

At around 6.45pm on January 22, the First Bus was heading down the road when the vandals struck.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was on the bus or was nearby to get in touch.

Elsewhere, police are urging the public to get in touch following a car theft in a Wishaw town centre car park.

At approximately 1.45am on January 23, the yellow Volkswagen Beetle was stolen from a car park near to Main Street.

Witnesses are being sought in relation to the incident.

Finally, between 5pm on January 23 and 1.45pm the next day, a rear window of an Alfa Romeo was smashed on Tinto Way, Cleland.
