Passenger thrown off Jet2 flight to East Midlands Airport after being 'aggressive' and 'disruptive'

A passenger was ejected from their flight to East Midlands Airport yesterday.

The man, who was flying from Tenerife to the local airport, was escorted off the flight with his partner and child, it is believed.

One source said: "East Midlands flight delayed as passenger kicked off on runway at Tenerife.

"Passenger was being aggressive and he was removed from flight with his partner and child."

As a result, flight LS634 was delayed. It is unknown if any further action was taken against the passenger.

A Jet2 spokesperson said: “Flight LS634 from Tenerife to East Midlands Airport was delayed yesterday due a disruptive passenger onboard.”

"As a friendly family airline we take a zero tolerance approach towards disruptive behaviour.”
