A Christmas reveller may have left friends and relatives disappointed yesterday after realising they had lost their Christmas presents.
A Dublin taxi driver opened his boot this morning to find a passenger had left two bags of girts behind.
The honest cabbie didn't think about keeping the unexpected bonanza for himself though and headed straight for a local garda station to drop the bags off.
Gardai are now hoping to reunite the presents with their owner.
They tweeted: "These two bags of Christmas gifts were dropped in to Tallaght Garda station this morning after a taxi driver discovered them in his car boot.
"If these are your Christmas presents, you can get in touch with Tallaght Garda station at 01 666 6000."
