Passenger in critical condition after Swansea car crash between BMW and Skoda

A passenger is in a critical condition in hospital after a serious car crash in Swansea.

A black BMW was in a collision with a red Skoda Fabia in Pant Lasau Road at around 9.50pm on Wednesday, July 22.

According to South Wales Police one of the passengers from the Skoda Fabia is in a critical condition in Morriston Hospital following the crash.

Two other people involved in the incident were left with minor injuries.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, driving while unfit through drink/drugs, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody.

South Wales Police are appealing for information following the crash. A force spokesman said: "A black BMW was in collision with a red Skoda Fabia in Pant Lasau Road at about 9.50pm.

"One of the passengers from the Skoda Fabia is in a critical condition in Morriston Hospital. The other people involved received only minor injuries."

Officers investigating the incident are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

They would also like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time with dashcam footage.
