Status: Husky-voiced movie vamp, the sexiest woman in Hollywood.
Says who? Heat magazine recently voted her one half of the silver screen's sexiest couple, for her role with William Hurt in 1981's Body Heat.
What about Bogey and Bacall? Gable and Leigh? Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones? Careful. Kathleen's not too fond of our Catherine.
Why ever not? Douglas, Turner's co-star in the 80s hits Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile, was reported in September to be "in talks" about making a third film in the series - but with his new amour CZJ instead of Turner.
Not best chuffed? "Disgusted," we are told. "They must be in love, which is great. Of course, it helps if you have a few million in the bank."
Ouch. Insecure about her looks, is she? Unlikely. The voice of cartoon sex-kitten Jessica Rabbit once told an interviewer: "I know there are nights when I have power, when I could put on something and walk in somewhere, and if there is a man who doesn't look at me, it's because he's gay."
Must be fighting them off. Actually, she's currently having trouble finding a man. Turner has been cast as Mrs Robinson in a West End version of Mike Nichols' 1967 film The Graduate, due to open in January. But director Terry Johnson hasn't yet found a suitable Dustin Hoffman to play opposite her Anne Bancroft. Turner is on her way to London to interview hopefuls for the role of Benjamin Braddocks.
The Graduate - older woman seduces much younger man? You got it. Best not to mention, though, that he runs off with her daughter in the end.
Do say: See, it's not just Michael Douglas who can cavort with much younger co-stars.
Don't say: Which year did say you graduated?
