There is currently a power cut affecting the KA12 postcode area of Irvine.
This means properties in the town's High Street and the surrounding areas are without power.
According to SP Energy Network's website they became aware of the problem at 11.11am and are hoping to restore power by 1.15pm.
In the meantime Scottish Power's emergency response team are on their way to the Burnside Place substation to investigate and repair the fault.
