Partnership brings professional advanced analytics to align with Humber's net zero ambition

Process engineering and skills specialist Catch UK is bringing professional advanced analytics to the Humber.

The tools are seen as vital in the response to the climate change emergency, helping carry out energy transition and deliver net-zero carbon technologies and business.

The Stallingborough-based team behind the regional training hub said leaders and managers require better practices for risk management, data handling, and quantitative methods to make better-informed decisions.

Catch has signed a partnership with the International Institute of Professional Education and Research, which has been endorsed and sponsored by OSL Risk Management, OSL Consulting Engineering, and Real Options Valuation.

Tom Eastwood, training centre delivery manager, said: “Catch is delighted to announce a very exciting partnership which will form the Catch and OSL Analytics Academy.

“I am excited that we will be able to offer a comprehensive range of high level courses in risk management and data analytics, which will bring a new package of courses to help our new and existing customers gain vital new skills.”

An online platform has been developed to enhance both online and on-site training programmes in risk management, data analytics, and quantitative methods for multidisciplinary professionals.

The technologies to be used during the training are already integrated into more than 300 universities worldwide, many multinational organisations as well.

Mr Eastwood said: “Our vision with all these important allies is supporting both individuals and companies with the Humber’s industrial strategy, where professional skills and development need to be aligned with investments and growth opportunities.”

The first professional training programme, Risk Quantification and Business Simulations, is now available, with Project Risk Management, Decommissioning Risk, Project Economic Analysis, Company Valuations, Risk in Plant Operation and Operational Risk and others to follow.
